2013-11-17	Corciam	In PROBLEMI ELO non riesco a muovere i pezzi: quando cerco di spostarne uno, questo si muove da solo non appena clicco con il mouse, senza possibilità di cambiare, e senza poterlo più muovere. Cosa devo fare?

2013-11-15	Datr	As mentioned previously, Alternative line evaluations are no longer shown in Solution. Another change is that the Extended solutions no longer seem to ramble on, they appear to be much shorter now, which is good.

(Other sites do this) If the player selects to press hint, "Problem" changes to "Mate Problem" or "Tactic Problem" as appropriate, If it is a "Mate Problem" the player could have the option to press the "Hint Button" again, the "Mate Problem" changes to "Mate in X" I think the "Hint Button" would give flexibility and player choice, some players don't want to know whether it is a mate or tactics problem, it makes it more difficult to solve. Some players want to know it is a "Mate in X", I have often found, say, found a Mate in 4 and told I am Wrong, because the mate is in 3, whereas if I had known it was a Mate in 3 I would have looked further.

2013-11-15	Datr	If En passant is possible this is indicated by pointing at the appropriate pawn. I assume castling rights will also be shown if one points at the king. The FEN string is no longer shown with the Solution, as it used to be. The FEN string is shown when viewing from User or Comments on the Home screen. The font on the FEN string is very small and awkward to copy, I think it would be better if it was a little larger and positioned beneath the game info, this should make it easier to copy.,

2013-11-11	Datr	Zuril: Yes, I understood the need and urgency to replace Java and I like the new board. Apart from the problems with Java, I liked the way the site worked and I wouldn't like to lose the features it had. 1. The FEN strings and the stats with the Solution. 2. The move numbers 3. Alternative lines with evaluates etc I hope these can be re-introduced over time.

2013-11-11	Zuril	Datr: I know but the java applet was obsolete and this step was obliged. In the feature we can always improve this one reintroducing multiple solutions mates. I think that with this new chessboard, that don't require to install additional software, the base of ideachess players can grow a lot and you can play on your tablet too!
2013-11-11	Datr	Zuril: I think it is a big mistake to remove mates problems with multiple solutions, they provided interesting ideas and approaches. Also saying "Wrong" on the first move to mate problems has removed a lot of the learning potential for these types of problem. The new board is a good step forward but this has been undermined by the other changes, in my opinion.
