2017-02-04	Dmedved	I can recommend ideachess. I've just spent a year away from chess.com. I've now gone back to chess.com and found my tactics rating has gone up 200 points. It might be due to the new chess.com website design, but I'd like to think that I've learned something from ideachess in the interim.

2016-09-30	N4pll	Stockfish 8 will come soon. In a 64 game match versus Komodo 10.1, Stockfish had 14 wins, 49 draws, and only one loss. The loss was on game 10 when Stockfish played white and the defense was the French Defense. N4PLL

2016-08-23	MelGriffin	Thank Datr for the informative answer. I too like this site very much. I also use Chessbase Tactics Trainer and have the program ChessArt from Peshka. All seem on par with my rating but Chess Tempo seems off kilter somewhat. The problems do indeed seem tougher but does not award one with the appropriate ELO.

2016-08-05	Dmedved	I love this site, much more than the other 3 I use. It's simple. And works really well on a tablet. It's a shame it isn't more popular, it seems people are dropping out of the top 200 through inactivity. That's the only reason I can see for the cut off score dropping like it has.
2016-07-29	Datr	MelGriffin: I am a member of ChessTempo but I use Ideachess much more often. ChessTempo is far more complicated than IdeaChess and has many more features. Endgame practice is particularly good. It has many more users and many have high grades so some of the comments are very informative, they also seem to have a strong behavioral code. I think it is a good site but I like the simplicity of IdeaChess.
